Beef and Veggies in a Bread bowl

I used a bread recipe I found online and made the bread bowls.

Scoop out the bread and cut up onions.

Fry/grill the onions

Add the beef

Add the seasonings

Chop it and mix it all together - Add salt and pepper

Add peas or veggies of your choice

Add cream cheese

Add mozzarella cheese

After it is all mixed then scoop into the bread bowls

Enjoy!

Homemade Ranch - like the restaurants!

 My family loves this one!

Homemade Ranch - YUM

Ingredients:

Mayo

Milk

Ranch Seasoning (I get it in bulk at Sam's Club)

Optional: Sour Cream

Direction:

Okay, so I don't have this down to a science.... I originally had a recipe, but I never wrote it down and now I just play it by eye and taste.

So, I mix all these ingredients together.  Start small and maybe do a cup or two of Mayo. Then add the milk, but you only need a small amount or you will make it too soupy! If you overdo the milk, just add a bit more mayo to even it out. I'd say 1/4 cup of milk if you do 2 cups of Mayo. Like I said, play around with it though and adjust as needed. I then dump/sprinkle on ranch seasoning and mix with a whisk to get all the chunks and make it smooth. Taste it and adjust as needed until you get the right creamy ranch taste. Sour cream is optional since it wasn't in the original recipe. I just tried adding some at one time when I made a taco ranch casserole and it was amazing! I'd say only a 1/4 cup, but go by taste and find the right consistency for you!

Enjoy!

I rarely buy ranch anymore because this is so much better and my husband and kids love it as well! We use it for a dip for fries, nuggets, as a salad dressing and a sauce for tacos, etc.

Homemade Pinesol/Cleaner - All natural!

 Ingredients:

Green Pine needles

White Vinegar

Directions:

Stuff your mason jar full of Pine needles and pour White Vinegar over until it is fully covered. Put the lid on and let it set for weeks.... around 6 (give or take a little). Strain the liquid into another jar to remove the needles. Put in a spray bottle and dilute as needed for cleaning.

Sourdough Pancakes and Waffles

This is one of my favorites so far for Pancakes and Waffles! I found a recipe online and adjusted it (cause I never follow a recipe 100%). lol

Ingredients:

1 cup sourdough starter

1/4 cup sugar

1 cup milk

2 eggs (don't leave out the eggs... I did this once because I was making this recipe and realized I didn't have any eggs! I decided to finish anyway and they were "ok", but definitely better with egg!)

1 1/2 cup flour (I used unbleached)

1 t baking powder (I just sprinkle a little in)

1/4 t salt (I use Himalayan)

1 t baking soda (again, I just sprinkle a little in, but definitely don't overdo it since you don't want them overly salty!)

1 t vanilla extract (I would do about 2 of the caps full of Vanilla, cause vanilla is just delicious!)

Optional: add blueberries, chocolate chips, nuts, cinnamon or anything else you fancy into batter before cooking.

*I use a Belgian waffle maker or an electric griddle for these, so I would start heating it up before putting all the ingredients together so that it would be ready. Otherwise, you can let the batter sit for a bit to get nice and bubbly while your griddle, pan or waffle maker is heating up.

*Combine everything and mix it all together until smooth.

*Grease/spray whatever you decided to use to cook these on so that they do not stick.

*The waffle maker will usually tell you when they are done, but if you are doing pancakes then wait until you see them start to bubble, then use a spatula and flip. Cook both sides until they are a light brown.

*Serve with your favorite syrup, whipped cream and whatever other toppings you enjoy!

You're done!
